Max Crawdaddy

MAX CRAWDADDY has been presenting The SON of CRAWDADDY Blues program on Melbourne Community Radio Station for over 30 years, focusing on old&new Blues, Soul/R&B and Jazz. In that time, he’s been fortunate enough to interview some of the greats, everyone from B.B.King, Candye Kane and Buddy Guy, through to local legends Billy Thorpe, Renee Geyer and Matt Taylor.

His live D.J. work has included over 10 years at R&R bar Cherry, many, many nights at the Continental Cafe/Prahran back in the ‘90’s, the opening spot at Neil Young’s Myer Music Bowl gig in 2009 and the Out on the Weekend and Golden Plains Festivals.

This will be Max’s debut at this year’s WINTER BLUES Fest. and he’s extremely excited to be involved in a Line-up that includes some of the best talent in the Land.
