Introducing the roastin’ hot NEW Blues band in town: Sam Buckley Band! Featuring the infamous Aussie Blues guitar slinger, Sam Buckley, and the dynamic rhythm section of Terepai Richmond (drums) and Linden Lester (bass), these three are making waves in the Australian music scene.

Recently, the band gave a phenomenal performance at the mainstream festival, Big Chill, in May in 2025 and since Terepai joined the trio, they have gone from strength to strength – already booked to support Stefan Hauk at Bronwyn Street Blues (2026) and launch at Blues on Broadbeach (2026). They are the latest buzz around town – with good reason! Sam, former lead guitarist from Dreamboogie and Anni Piper Band, launched his solo career in 2022 and spent the last two years living in the Baez (his motorhome) touring up and down the East Coast of Oz clocking up over 60,000kms and playing more than 400 shows. Two of his debut singles, Blue Ocean and Rock Me Baby, made it into the AMRAP Top 10 Regional Chart and his roaring guitar bends and swagger caught the attention of industry luminaries – Sam supported music icons Ash Grunwald (twice), Ray Beadle & Katie Noonan on their tours.
