Rory Phillips has captivated audiences for years, both solo and in various bands, as an aspiring young singer/songwriter and a dynamic guitarist beyond his years.

At just 19, Rory is already an officially endorsed artist of Achillies Amps, Cole Clark and Buzz Box Guitars, and with a foot in multiple genres, was named the 2023 NSW Folk Federation Young Folk Artist of the Year, is the youngest ever member of iconic Australian band, The Bushwackers, touring guitarist for ARIA-winner, Sara Storer, the Musician in Residence for the CMAA Academy of Country Music and has been playing on festival stages for over a decade.

But with the blues in his soul from a very young age, Rory is now taking centre stage as the frontman of The Rory Phillips Trio, his own blues covers band, who recently proved themselves to be a big hit at the 2025 Echuca-Moama Winter Blues Festival.

Joining Rory are the talented Clayton Denson on drums and James Palmer on bass, providing a solid backline that lets Rory’s extraordinary guitar playing and strong vocals shine.
