Rambal is an eight-piece band playing an electrifying mix of soul, blues, and funk music who have been touring up and down the East Coast of Australia garnering national attention with their soul-packed performances. The band features MBAS 2024 Blues Performers of the Year Nardia Brancatisano (vocals) and Justin Yap (guitar) along with the powerhouse rhythm section of, Ollie Rolfe (keys & vocals), Sunny Reyne (vocals), Jordan Pereira (drums), and Sam Watts (bass).

Previously known as the Justin Yap Band, after the guitarist, the group garnered
national attention with their 2016 release ‘Let Love’ , earning #1 on the Australian Blues and Roots Radio Airplay Chart and Group of the Year at the 2017 Australian Blues Music Awards.

The release of ‘Hold Your Fire’ put Rambal onto the radar of other popular Melbourne bands such as Sex on Toast and Vaudeville Smash, leading to performances at iconic venues such as The Corner Hotel, The Gasometer, and Howler.

Rambal’s latest album release ‘Hold Your Fire’ hones in on the band’s song-writing and focuses on sharing the stories and issues important to the band while laying down grooves and jams in spades. The band have since been touring and have performed at some of Australia’s iconic festivals including Queenscliff Music Festival, Blues on Broadbeach (QLD), Girrakool Blues Festival (NSW), and the Wangaratta Jazz and Blues Festival (VIC). ‘Hold Your Fire’ is available on all streaming platforms.
