Rory Phillips is an aspiring guitarist/singer/songwriter, an officially endorsed artist of Achillies Amps, Cole Clark and Buzz Box Guitars and a music lover to his core.
Rory has opened for Grammy Winner Billy Ocean and appeared alongside Australian blues artists Lloyd Spiegel, Shane Pacey and Dom Turner.
A regular at the Bendigo Blues & Roots Music Festival, Rory was chosen as the Youth Ambassador in 2022 to replace Bill Barber and despite his young age, has spent a decade playing on festival stages. With a foot in the blues, country and folk worlds, Rory was named the 2023 Folk Federation of NSW Young Artist of the Year and in 2022 was a finalist in the Environmental Music Prize alongside some industry heavyweights such as Paul Kelly and Lime Cordiale.
