In January 2023, among a field of 150 artists from around the world, Australian bluesman Frank Sultana competed in and won the solo/duo section of the International Blues Challenge in Memphis Tennessee.
Awash with vintage guitar tones and primitive rhythms, Frank Sultana’s raw soulful voice bleeds with the experience of the characters he writes and sings about - In one breath, his songs are dark and dirty, joyous and hopeful.
Frank has since graced many festival stages here in Australia, including Bluesfest and Blues on Broadbeach, and played sold out headline shows through the first half of 2024
