Raised on a hearty diet of 90’s alternative bands, Elise Drake’s music traces the edges of rock and alt-country.
Released in 2022, debut EP “In Waves” is a swirling, often brooding exploration into Elise’s chaotic mind.
The past few years have seen Elise tirelessly gigging around Victoria, supporting esteemed Australian artists including Adam Harvey, Beccy Cole, Karise Eden, and Mama Kin Spender, as well as performing alongside members of The Waifs, The Screaming Jets and The Bamboos.
Influenced by female powerhouses Stevie Nicks, Alanis Morissette and Chrissy Amphlett, Elise’s compelling stage presence and unfeigned lyricism can’t help but lure you in, one song at a time.
