Award winning blues singer/songwriter, harmonica player and guitar finger-picker, Dan Dinnen performs stripped back ballads and haunting minor key confessionals, upbeat country blues, swinging shuffles and swampy juke-joint grooves. Drummer/percussionist Anthony “Shorty” Shortte’s unique approach to the drum-kit creates a rolling, rollicking, juke-joint sound that captivated audiences at gigs and festivals around the country for 20 years. Together, Dan Dinnen & Shorty serve up a bluesy gumbo of rootsy goodness. A little bit delta swamp, a little bit hill country, and a lot its own unique flavour.
