White Lightning is a hard-hitting Melbourne duo, playing contemporary blues-rock steeped in old-timey, goodness. Bringing gritty slide-guitar riffs and immersive, heavy rhythms, the pair deliver a raucous show that’s a favourite at festivals.

 

White Lightning are Sean McConnell on guitar and Benny Gerrard on drums. Their latest release ‘Mongrel Blood’ was nominated for Best Blues Album (Music Victoria). It promptly sold out at Echuca Blues Festivals gone by and now fetches top-dollar on the black market.
