McNaMarr Project bring ‘The sound of soulful blues’ with the feel of Memphis in every song.

Two multi award winning artists with powerhouse voices and prodigious songwriting skills, John McNamara and Andrea Marr joined forces in 2018 to become the McNaMarr project. 3 number one blues albums in Australia and in the US, 2 Music Victoria nominations and multiple blues awards followed.

Their first album released in 2019 on Memphis label SelectOHits received international AirPlay and rave reviews, topping blues charts in the US and throughout Europe. Covid saw them record and release their second album Run with me, topping Australian blues charts and nominated for a Music Victoria best blues work.

Andrea was inducted into the blues music Victoria Hall of fame in 2022. In July 2024, they released their latest album ‘The Quasar Sessions’ which hit number one on the Australian Blues charts, was a finalist in the Vic/Tas Blues Awards and again received a music Victoria nomination for Best Blues Work.

Andrea has been named Blues Music Victoria’s ambassador for Women in Blues and is also a part of the US Women in Blues. John runs the touring show Blues Guitar Roadshow featuring the best guitar players in the country.
