The Amin & Lachlan Duo are an acoustic act that specialise in playing various Blues styles including, Jump, Delta, and Chicago Blues. They are the first regularly gigging act to come out of the Adelaide Roots & Blues Association’s Youth in Blues program, and are now taking their show to venues throughout Australia.
Their performances dig deep into the history of the Blues, taking you on a journey across time spanning between the 1920’s to the 1970’s including artists such as Little Walter, Muddy Waters, Junior Wells, Blind Willie McTell and Rory Gallagher.
Since forming, they have played at festivals such as the 2025 Echuca-Moama Winter Blues Festival, the Port Noarlunga Blues Festival for the past 3 years, the 2024 and 2025 Semaphore Music Festival, and the 2023 and 2024 Adelaide Blues Festival, in addition to regularly gigging around Adelaide and surrounds. They have also supported renowned Australian Blues musicians Nathan Calvaleri and Nick Charles on their recent Adelaide tours.
Amin Slee is the duo’s vocalist, harmonica player and slide guitarist. His passion for the blues comes through in his vocal workings conveying the rich storytelling of the great blues musicians of the past to new audiences.
Lachlan Sullivan’s guitar playing and stomp box honours the traditions of blues music as an art-form while acting as a driving force to the group’s sound.
Amin and Lachlan see themselves as ambassadors of the youth in blues and are contributing to a bright future for the blues community.
