Salt and Steel offer a raw, earthy rock experience, blending psychedelic elements with the grounded essence of rock roots and blues. The couple live full time in their van, ‘the solar powered rehearsal studio’ and have performed at festivals across Australia like Woodford Folk Festival, Party In the Paddock and Brisbane Pride Fair Day.
Known for music that is ‘fierce, emotive and genuine,’ Nkechi Anele from Triple J Roots ‘n’ All describes them as a ‘dynamic duo who go from strength to strength, bringing nothing less than power and passion to their music.’
2024 is already a strong leap ahead for Salt & Steel. In 2024, they took their project to the world with an East Asian tour, captivating audiences at ‘Kahilwayan Festival’ in the Philippines and ‘Its Garage Fest’ in Cambodia, before finishing the year at major Australian Festivals such as Airlie Beach Festival of Music.
