Vocally compared to the likes of Joni Mitchell, Jewell and Katie Noonan, Louise MacGregor style is described as country tinged soprano. A prolific songwriter, and recording artist, Louise won multiple song competitions early in her career,
and has recorded her songs with Louie and The Pride (lush harmonies, and delicately arranged acoustic Pop), Longlea Lane (ambient electronic) and solo under Louise MacGregor.
2025 sees Louise take her music to France, London, and Edinburgh, and hopefully bringing home some new songs as well.
Performing with Sam Pollock (the Ratbags) it’s a dream combo, with Sam adding his own flair to Louises style with his lead guitar and effects.
Louise releases a new single under the moniker of Longlea Lane (recording project with producer Daniel Mayes) in June.
